🦹♂️I am Alex Mădăras, a 23 y.o. Master's Computer Science student in the Netherlands at the University of Twente, expected to graduate at the beginning of 2025. I was born and raised in Romania but moved to Enschede, Netherlands in 2022 to complete my Master's Degree.
💻Since I was 14, I have developed an interest in Computer Science, mainly due to my curiosity and openness to technology. This curiosity helped me learn the basics of C/C++, which is not the most "pleasant" programming language.
🗺️Tour Guide in my free time with 28 countries visited and an adventurous personality, at 19 y.o. I embarced on my first Erasmus Mobility at the other edge of Europe: in the capital of Portugal, where I discovered my deep passion for Android Development which pushed me to a Summer Internship in the upcoming summer.
🇳🇱Ambitious enough after surviving my first experience abroad, I decided to take a new challenge: this time for real. Thus, after graduating with my Bachelor's at the West University of Timisoara, I moved to another culturally rich pole of Europe: the Netherlands,🎓.
💡During my two-year Master's specialising in Software Technology, I learnt several important skills: from Software Management and Requirement Negotiation to Software Engineering Techniques and applying SOLID code principles to build a Java board game and developing LLMs for banks (ING).
🏦My journey didn't end here, as after my LLM project with ING, I joined them in an Internship for my Master's Thesis which is ongoing, building AI models and working with professionals and veterans in the banking industry.
I'm always excited to see what the future will bring!
